Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the website of John Knox Christian School. This site is meant to provide you with a variety of information pertaining to our school community. Whether you are new to the community, or whether you are already a member of our school, we hope that you will find what you are looking for, as you search through the pages of our website. Please consider this website as one of the ways that you can obtain information about John Knox Christian School. Other ways would be to talk to people already connected to JKCS, and one of the best ways to find out more about our school would be to come by and visit us! We would be happy to show you around, sit down and talk with you, and answer any questions you may have.

This year at JKCS, our school-wide theme is "God's Living Stones - Building for the King".  For more than half a century, JKCS has sought help our students to grow to love our Lord more and more, but we have also sought to provide opportunities where students can be a blessing to the Woodstock community.  As a result, the greater Woodstock community continues to be a blessing to our school! This year's theme will guide our assemblies, devotional times, and even our curricular development.  One of the versus the staff is using to support this year's them comes from 1 Peter 2:5a which reads, "You like living stones are being built into a spiritual house."  Each of our students is a part of the Kingdom of God.  One of our goals at John Knox Christian School is to lead and guide our students to better understand how each person plays an important role in helping to build God's Kingdom by serving God and serving others!  Our prayer is that each of our students will also build a firm foundation upon Christ Jesus, our Rock.  We take the spiritual growth of our students as seriously as their academic growth, and we are honoured to be able to walk this journey of faith with each of the students enrolled in our school!
