Whether you are new to the community, or whether you are already a member of our school, we hope that you will find what you are looking for, as you search through the pages of our website. Please consider this website as one of the ways that you can obtain information about John Knox Christian School. Other ways would be to talk to people already connected to JKCS, and one of the best ways to find out more about our school would be to come by and visit us! We would be happy to show you around, sit down and talk with you, and answer any questions you may have.
This year at JKCS, we are celebrating 50 years of Christian schooling in Woodstock, and we consider this to be a true testament to God's goodness and faithfulness. For half a century, JKCS has sought to be a blessing to the Woodstock community, and as a result, the greater Woodstock community continues to be a blessing to our school! Each year, the staff chooses a new theme for the school-year, which guides our assemblies, devotional times, and even our curricular development. This year, our school theme is "Reflecting, Renewing, Rejoicing" with is also our anniversary theme. We have also chosen 1 Chronicles 16:11 as our theme verse, which states, "Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always." For 50 years, this has been the goal of JKCS, and as we reflect upon the past, renew our relationships with our Lord and His people, and as we rejoice in His blessings to our school, we continue to seek the Lord always!
John Knox Christian School has a dedicated and professional staff who work together as a team. The teachers are qualified in the field of education, and they are committed to their work, and to the Lord! The staff strives to provide a rigorous, Christ-centered education, which falls in line with the teachings of both church and home. Together, we want to see children grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Please come by to meet us at JKCS; you are always welcome!
