John Knox Christian School seeks to partner with parents to raise up children that know and love the Lord. As we minister in the area of elementary Christian Education, we seek to be an extension of what is taught in the home and in the church.
The JKCS Mission statment states that we provide Christ-centered quality elementary education for the children of believers to equip them for a life of praise snd sevice to God through committed and dedicated teachers, parents and supporting community.
One of the best ways to gauge whether we are reaching our goals, and impacting our students for Christ, is by hearing the comments and experiences of parents with children in the school. Below is a recommendation letter from a family that has a student in our SK program.

Our Experience at JKCS:
We were already parents to a very large family, (raising biological, adopted, and foster children over the last 30 years), when the Lord surprised us with the opportunity to adopt a beautiful baby girl. It is always our desire to give our children every opportunity to hear the truths of God?s Word and come to have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that our youngest daughter, Lexi, will grow to love the Lord with all her heart and that she will seek to honour Him with her life. When new shopping opportunities brought us to the west end of
Woodstock 2-3 years ago, we happened to notice the

Creations
Pre-school sign in front of JKCS, inviting new registrations. Our experience has been only with the public school systems in the past, (not without many concerns), and we were eager to send Lexi to a Christian pre-school where the program upheld God as the centre of all things, and where she could enjoy a social experience in a Christian environment with a teacher who loved the Lord.
Our daughter loved her pre-school experience, and during that year, we ourselves made a very pleasant discovery. We fell in love with

School! As we regularly walked the halls to deliver and pick up Lexi at Wee Creations, we couldn?t help but notice all the Scripture on the walls, and the wonderful artwork on display, based on Biblical themes. We often lingered awhile to take it all in! We were also very impressed with the friendly, well-mannered, and wholesome students that travelled the hallways, and we were equally impressed with the staff and teachers that demonstrated a genuine care for the students and a joy in their work that is rarely seen elsewhere.
We loved what we saw, and longed to be able to provide this setting for Lexi?s continuing education. We even found we were checking our ancestry for any traces of Dutch blood, so that we might fit in! But we knew in our hearts that wasn?t necessary. We had a stronger relationship through the Lord Jesus Christ, and there isn?t any kinship or fellowship greater than that! We grabbed the JKCS information from the holder in the hallway, and shortly after registered Lexi for JK. We were all thrilled with Lexi?s experience in JK with a wonderful teacher who overflowed with love for the children, and with enthusiasm for teaching all those things of importance at that level, with a godly perspective. We loved to hear Lexi go about the house quoting Scripture verses and singing songs that she learned at school. Now Lexi is beginning her year in SK with another wonderful teacher. We are looking forward to watching her grow and learn. We are so thankful to know that the values and beliefs we teach at home are being upheld at school, and that she is being cared for and taught by those who demonstrate the love and character of God everyday. We also appreciate the standard of excellence sought in the school academically, and the obvious success achieved by many students in various areas of study. We hope we can be a meaningful part of the JKCS family for many years to come. We pray that together we will continue to bring great glory to God. (Romans 11: 36)
